Here up for sale is a August 1968 issue of Model Car & Science magazine in used condition.  Contains articles on building a Woody model kit, 4 pgs on new Lancer clear bodies for HO, 5 pgs on Monogram rod kits including the Beer Wagon, Boot Hill Express, and Red Baron; 3 pgs on detailing a 1/32 McLaren clear body for a midwest pan chassis; 4 pgs on part 1 of how to build the ideal home slot track by Robert Schleicher; 3 pgs on the 1-1 George Barris custom Mustangs; 3 pgs on a M4 Sherman tank model by Revell; 4 pgs on the Dune Dragger custom jeepster model; and 2 pgs on NAMRA World.
Slot car ads and feature articles include Champion Pro 400 and MRC Endura controllers, Champion brass rod frame for sports cars, and Discount Hobby Distributors ad listing Classic slots and parts. Model kit ads include the inside front cover Monogram Duesenberg and other classic model car kit, Centuri and Estes model rockets, X-acto soldering knife, IMC Cougar II model kit, MPC Porsche Carrera, Ferrari 250LM, and Aston Martin DB5 kits, back inner cover ad for the AMT AMX, and back cover ad for MPC Eliminator, Ramchargers, and Jeep kits.
Condition is used, with a price written in black marker on the upper right part of cover.  Magazine shows some light wear, curl, bends, and small corner creases.  No handwriting or other markings added.  Normal page yellowing present from age
