Ornate Gothic Gilt Metal Bowl, 4 legged, Beveled Glass
I have no idea about it's background.
The seven glass windows are made of a high quality glass and are beveled.
If you look closely, you'll see a broken hinge.
At one time there was a top to this.
I have never seen it.
The bottom is padded and could use a small repair requiring a simple glue job on the fabric.
That's about all I can tell you.
It's unusual and is an excellent conversation piece.
