    Description

    For sale is this Texaco Grand Prix VanWall Indy Slot Car 1/24 scale. Built exclusively from kits that were sold by the Texaco gas stations as promotional items back in the mid 1960s.  Excellent performance from the Russkit 22 16D motor, this car required no glue to assemble. Polished aluminum Riggen mag wheels and spinners, soft wide Riggen tires. The unusual drive train assembly is without a gear, rather the friction type where the motor armature directly works with the drive wheel. The Vanwall Indy Car is very light and fun to operate. THIS CAR WAS NEVER ON THE TRACK. (some of these may have a hairline crack that can be fixed) These pieces are old.
    Kits can be purchased also instead of us building it for you.
