Vintage 1930s Beacon Ombre wool blanket art deco wool robe

Description

Vintage Early Beacon ombre wool robe in shades of blue grey and green.
The ombre line was introduced in 1926, dates pre 1940s.
BEING SOLD AS IS
-
missing the ombre label, does have the department store label
-This robe has buttons, it is an earlier one!
-missing the rope belt
-piping around the interior facings
-rope trimmed pockets, cuffs, and collar
-has been hand washed, still a little stiff
-surface is very pilly.
-wide waist belt loops
-wear to the back of the collar and edges
-a bit of a spot of paint on the lapel, see photo
-front and reverse sides are in different colors,
The strongest side was called the patternization, and the reverse of the cloth was called the colorization.
