VINTAGE WESTERN HOBBIES DEVASTATOR 1/24 SLOT CAR 1960's LOTUS

Western Hobbies Devastator slot car in used condition. See last pic for original ad for car in 1967 Model Car & Track magazine. Nose of body has been repaired from a  bad break and rear has splits that need attention as well. Known for notoriuosly thin factory paint jobs, it looks like someone tried to make it look better (darker) by backing the factory color with a dark green but it doesnt affect the topside of body other than the green tinted windshield which looks kinda cool. Unusual chassis is correct, with the correct beautiful black anodized drilled Riggen wheels and tires which are still soft and 3-prong knockoffs, but has a BZ motor in place of the original. Shows playwear and needs a thorough cleaning. All in all it still displays well and is a good example of this car.
