Condition: This decorative Japanese bamboo constructed folding hand fan is in very good, clean, lightly used, functional condition. It unfolds and folds back up nicely. There is some minor paper edge wear where the fold creases are. On the back of the white rice paper, there is some minor paint bleed through.

Up for sale is a
Vntg Gold Foil Japanese 14 1/4" Tall Folding Bamboo Hand Fan with Painted Pink Cherry Blossoms and red pagodas. It has bamboo staves, and weighs 3 ozs. It has a white rice paper for it's backing. "JAPAN" is stamped onto the back of the fan. When unfolded, the fan is 25 1/2" wide. Considering this belonged to my wife's grandmother, it probably is at least fifty years old or older.
