WW II German Navy - 7x50 LEITZ U-BOAT / U-BOOT BINOCULARS - NICE!

You are bidding on a NICE set of WW2 German Kriegsmarine Leitz 7x50 U-Boat & Ship Binoculars!
The German Army and Navy used a wide variety of optical equipment, including a 6x30 (6 power magnification with 30mm objective lens), 7x50, 8x30, 10x50 and others, being the standard issued optics used by all branches of service.
Though this type was the standard, specialized personnel required stinger optics, and were issues to personnel on a limited basis.
This specific binocular was used by U-Boat crews, ships, and coastal artillery.
Made by Leitz of a large tooled alloy and aluminum construction, these 7 x 50 power binoculars are in EXCELLENT used condition!
The lens bodies retain about 85% of their original black finish, and the focus adjustment still functions perfectly on both eye pieces!  The optics are EXTRAORDINARILY clear on the left side, with NO spotting or haziness...but the right side is a slight bit foggy.  Optics are slightly out of alignment when looking through, so one would need to rectify.  The weird thing is that someone has swapped out the original Leitz plates, with plates featuring a Zeiss logo.  Please note that these are NOT Zeiss binoculars...but rather Leitz Binoculars with Zeiss plates attached.  The right side body is marked
