    Description

    All original satchel appears to be complete, I am not sure about the lock mechanism may just be some kind of latch.  The leather needs repair and conditioning but is mostly still good, there is a missing section on the end of one of the straps.  Pretty sure this is WW1 by the look and feel of the item very similar to other WW1 bags of this style, although I think this is a pretty rare bag might be for a high end officer or important war documents due to the lock mechanism.
